Even as an eviction notice threatens to unravel ten years of painstaking work\, Chike learns what it actually costs to stitch a life back together by hand. Finding humor and ache in equal measure in an unglamorous make-or-break night of suit jacket alterations\, Stitches is a warm\, clear-eyed ode to pride\, forgiveness\, and the family we choose. If a tailor’s shop is where cut or torn clothes get seamed\, then Chike threads the same stubborn hope — mending his heart with the ex he never stopped loving\, tacking himself back together with the seamstress who never left\, and hanging on by a pin with a shop assistant too young to know better.
