SUMMARY:Stage Management Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Grande Prairie Live Theatre is excited to offer a hands-on Stage Management Workshop for aspiring and current theatre volunteers\, students\, and production enthusiasts. \nThis free workshop will take place over two sessions across two days\, May 30th 10am-2pm and May 31st 1pm-5pm. Participants will gain practical experience and insight into the essential role stage managers play in theatrical productions. \nTopics covered will include: \n\nCalling cues during performances\nTheatre setup and backstage organization\nProduction planning and coordination\nCommunication within a production team\nTheatre safety practices\nAnd much more\n\nWhether you are brand new to theatre or looking to expand your backstage skills\, this workshop offers a valuable opportunity to learn directly through hands-on participation in a supportive environment. \nAttendance is free. Donations are welcome\, but not required.
