DESCRIPTION:Range Road 92 is an old-time string band\, influenced by Celtic\, folk\, cowboy\, southern rock\, bluegrass and western music.  They are a family-oriented group who perform at various venues including dance halls\, rodeos and churches. \nThe band consists of John Heikel on lead vocals and guitar\, Johann Heikel on fiddle cello\, tenor banjo and balalaika\, Lane Gerow on bass guitar\, whistle & mandolin and Ranen Calvert on percussion and Banjo.  They have r received nominations for several awards.

DESCRIPTION:Over The Moon\nCanadian Juno nominated roots/swing duo Over The Moon’s   Suzanne Levesque and Craig Bignell are awarding multi-instrumentalists/vocalists that met\, fell in love\, got married and discovered their voices blend so well together that people often tear up upon hearing them sing. \nLiving on a ranch in the foothills of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains\, it’s inevitable there will be a strong sense of place- and the rhythms of the land when you start to make music.   When the couple released their debut album\, the resonances were there for all to hear. reflecting the pulse of life\,  lived in a territory that is both dirt-hard rugged and beautiful. \nTheir music is a wild ride from 40’s sounding western swing and Appalachian old-time\, to cowboy blues.  Simple and sweet\, all of their material has a common thread that speaks of the Canadian west and on their UK release\, reviews were glowing…. \n“They are naturals on stage\, clearly delighted to be there and interspersing entertaining\, tongue-in-cheek banter with stories of their lives in the tiny (population 297 according to the latest census) village of Longview\, Alberta. There’s even a bit of yodelling\, which the crowd joins in enthusiastically. Sue’s double bass drives things along at an easy loping pace while Craig’s banjo and guitar (which Suzanne also essays on occasionally) sit on top\, as comfortably as you could wish. DESCRIPTION:Full Job Description:\nRising Star Instructors – Summer 2026 \nGrande Prairie Live Theatre Society\nStart Date: May 5\, 2026 \nEnd Date: August 21\, 2026 \nAbout the Role \nThe Grande Prairie Live Theatre is now accepting applications for three (3) Instructor positions for our 2026 Rising Star Summer Drama Program. \nRising Stars is a summer theatre school dedicated to teaching the youth in Grande Prairie and surrounding areas the power of their voice in art. We teach the fundamental building blocks of acting\, improvisation\, creative movement\, voice\, sound\, storytelling\, and playwriting. The Instructors also facilitate their students in developing a final presentation\, which is performed for friends and family on the final day of camp. The Grande Prairie Live Theatre strives to create and maintain an inclusive environment that focuses on allowing youth to find who they are as artists and to grow in that world. \nThe Instructors will work under the guidance of the General Manager to assist in program development and be responsible for the overall execution and creation of the curriculum.
