SUMMARY:The Outsider
DESCRIPTION:By Paul Slade Smith\nNed Newley doesn’t even want to be governor. He’s terrified of public speaking; his poll numbers are impressively bad. To his ever-supportive Chief of Staff\, Ned seems destined to fail. But political consultant Arthur Vance sees things differently: Ned might be the worst candidate to ever run for office. Unless the public is looking for the worst candidate to ever run for office…. A timely and hilarious comedy that skewers politics and celebrates democracy. \nShowtimes\nThursday September 17th\, 2026 – 7:30PM \nFriday September 18th\, 2026 – 7:30PM \nSaturday September 19th\, 2026 – 7:30PM \nThursday September 24th\, 2026 – 7:30PM \nFriday September 25th\, 2026 – 7:30PM \nSaturday September 26th – 7:30PM \nThursday October 1st – 7:30PM \nFriday October 2nd – 7:30PM \nSaturday October 3rd – 7:30PM

SUMMARY:Audition Notice: Stitches By Ola Olaoluwa
DESCRIPTION:Play Synopsis:\nA tailoring shop on the edge of foreclosure offers its owner one desperate\, overnight shot at saving everything he’s built. Even as an eviction notice threatens to unravel ten years of painstaking work\, Chike learns what it actually costs to stitch a life back together by hand. Finding humor and ache in equal measure in an unglamorous make-or-break night of suit jacket alterations\, Stitches is a warm\, clear-eyed ode to pride\, forgiveness\, and the family we choose. If a tailor’s shop is where cut or torn clothes get seamed\, then Chike threads the same stubborn hope — mending his heart with the ex he never stopped loving\, tacking himself back together with the seamstress who never left\, and hanging on by a pin with a shop assistant too young to know better. A testament to the quiet dignity of immigrant entrepreneurship\, Stitches offers up a night sewn from heartbreak\, humor\, and the hard-won art of starting over. \nAudition Dates:\nSeptember 29th @6PM-8PM \nSeptember 30th @6PM-8PM \nAudition Location:\nGrande Prairie Live Theatre \nCasting:\n\nMale Lead\, early 30’s\, Nigerian – Canadian\nFemale Lead\, early 30’s\, Canadian\nFemale Lead/Featured\, late 20’s\, Canadian (or any)\nMale Featured\, late teens/early 20’s\, Canadian (or any)\nMale Featured\, early 30’s\, Canadian (or any)\n\n  \nFull Audition Package
