Grande Prairie Live Theatre is pleased to invite our members, volunteers, supporters, and theatre community to our 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, September 20 at 1:00 PM.
The AGM is an opportunity to come together, reflect on the past year, look ahead to the future, and learn more about what’s happening at GPLT. It’s also an important opportunity for members of our community to get involved in the leadership of our theatre.
Open Board Positions
We are currently seeking members of the GPLT community who are interested in serving on our Board of Directors.
The following positions are open:
- President — 1-year term
- Vice President — 3-year term
- Treasurer — 2-year term
- Member-at-Large — 2 positions, 2-year terms
- Youth Member — 1-year term
Serving on the board is a great way to contribute your skills, ideas, and enthusiasm while helping guide the future of live theatre in Grande Prairie.
Whether you have years of theatre experience or are looking for a new way to become more involved in your community, we encourage you to consider putting your name forward.
Stay for the Social!
The AGM isn’t the only opportunity to connect.
Following the meeting, we’ll head to the lounge for a fellowship and social hour. It’s a chance to relax, chat with fellow members and theatre supporters, and celebrate the community that makes GPLT possible.
After the social hour, at approximately 4:00 PM, returning, retiring, and newly elected board members will reconnect to discuss the board handover and upcoming next steps.

GPLT is built by a passionate community of performers, volunteers, supporters, board members, and theatre lovers. Our AGM is one of the ways we come together to keep that community strong and help shape where we’re headed next.
