Auditions
Sunday, September 20: 7:00–8:30 pm
Monday, September 21: 7:00–8:30 pm
Additional audition time slots may be added if needed.
Casting
We are seeking:
- 2 actors, age 18+
- 1 actor, age 30+
- 6 Set Change Ninjas, age 16+
Set Change Ninjas will wear fanciful, colourful costumes while helping with the production’s many fast-paced set changes. Ninjas must be available for all rehearsals in December and January.
Actor Auditions
Auditions for the three actors will focus on:
- Improvisation
- Adaptability
- Comfort with a fast-paced, fanciful production designed for children age 12 and under
Actors will choose one short selection from several plays and genres. The selections will be provided at the audition, and time will be provided to prepare.
No prepared audition scene is required.
Reading the script in advance is recommended, but not necessary.
Youth Participation
At each of the 18 performances, the actors will randomly select up to 25 children (age 12 and under) from the audience to play special characters.
There are no scripted roles for children. Up to 425 young audience members will have the opportunity to participate on stage throughout the run.
