Member at Large: Amy La Hay

Member at Large: Amy La Hay

(1999-2000)
Amy La Hay is a long‑time community theatre advocate with more than a decade of involvement in regional performing arts. She brings a breadth of experience both onstage and behind the scenes, including three years with GPLT and nine years with Stage North. Her diverse theatrical background has given her a strong appreciation for the artistic, operational, and volunteer‑driven elements that are essential to a thriving community theatre organization. Amy has also previously served on the Board of Stage North, where she gained valuable experience in governance, collaboration, and strategic planning.
Professionally, Amy works in Human Resources and offers extensive expertise in recruitment, policy development, conflict resolution, change management, and investigations related to bullying and harassment. She is passionate about fostering healthy governance, positive volunteer engagement, and safe, inclusive environments. With a deep personal connection to GPLT, Amy is proud to contribute her skills and experience toward the long‑term vitality and success of the organization.

Member at Large: Lïnnea Fletcher

Member at Large: Lïnnea Fletcher

(1999-2000)
Lïnnea Fletcher was born a preemie baby at the U of A hospital in Edmonton. She moved with her family to Grande Prairie in 1994 and has lived in the Peace Country ever since. She considers Grande Prairie to be her home and loves the ‘small town’ feel of GP. She got into theater on a dare from a friend and has been involved ever since.

Lïnnea is very excited to have joined the GPLT board in 2026. She has held various customer service positions since she started working in high school which has given her a unique outlook on interpersonal interactions. Additionally, she sat on the PCWDC board for 2 years and worked at the GPPL for more than 10. This experience means she is no stranger to working with and for a non-profit organization. She hopes that her calm and collected personality can be a steady presence on the board going forward.

President: Abby Webb

President: Abby Webb

(1999-2000)
We are excited to welcome Abby as the new President of the Board for GPLT.
Abby has been actively involved with GPLT since 2011, contributing in a wide variety of roles including performing, backstage work, directing, and board leadership. She previously served as a Board Executive from 2015–2018, and is thrilled to be returning to the board.
Her love of theatre began at a young age, growing up attending professional productions and the Fringe Festival in Winnipeg. Since stepping down from the GPLT board in 2018 to focus on raising her children, Abby has remained deeply engaged in the community through volunteer work in the NICU and as a Member at Large with the Troyanda Ukrainian Society.
Abby moved to Grande Prairie in 2010 to begin her career as a speech-language pathologist and now serves as the Clinical Lead for Pediatrics and Speech-Language Pathology. She is honoured to rejoin GPLT and looks forward to working with the board, volunteers, and community to continue fostering vibrant local theatre.
