Grande Prairie Live Theatre is excited to offer a hands-on Stage Management Workshop for aspiring and current theatre volunteers, students, and production enthusiasts.
This free workshop will take place over two sessions across two days, May 30th 10am-2pm and May 31st 1pm-5pm. Participants will gain practical experience and insight into the essential role stage managers play in theatrical productions.
Topics covered will include:
- Calling cues during performances
- Theatre setup and backstage organization
- Production planning and coordination
- Communication within a production team
- Theatre safety practices
- And much more
Whether you are brand new to theatre or looking to expand your backstage skills, this workshop offers a valuable opportunity to learn directly through hands-on participation in a supportive environment.
Attendance is free. Donations are welcome, but not required.
